This course is a survey and comparative study of some of the major religious traditions and practices of the world including Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Hinduism, Buddhism, Taoism, Confucianism, and the Indigenous Religions. Students learn to analyze problems from different perspectives, and gain skills useful for working with diverse populations.

This course explores the three major religions of the world: Christianity, Judaism and Islam, and their association with war and terrorism. Emphasis will be on the radical sects of all three religions. Emphasis on current conflicts and its relationship to homeland security.
