Introductory Anatomy and Physiology I

This course is designed to provide pre-nursing students a solid, basic understanding of anatomy and physiology. The format of the course is to combine descriptions of anatomy with explanations of how structures function and examples of how they work to maintain life. Also, included in this course are discussions of how the systems respond to aging, changes in physical activity, and disease, with a special focus on homeostasis and the regulatory mechanisms that maintain it.
