NC3 and Greenlee introduce basic bending concepts, techniques, and functionality of various benders with STEM learning activities. Course content includes Conduit Characteristics, Bending Theory, How to Use and Identify Tools of the Trade, Special Bending Methods to Produce a Variety of Bends, Use of the 1818 Ratchet Mechanical Bender, Threading Conduit, and Safety and Regulations. Students demonstrate proficiency bending conduit with hand benders and ratchet mechanical benders.
