This Forklift Operator Training Course is designed to equip participants with the skills and competencies to excel as forklift operators in the warehousing and production environment. The course covers a wide range of topics, including loading and unloading materials and finished goods, moving materials throughout the warehouse and production environment, positioning forks and other lifting devices, identifying damages and reporting shortages or quality deficiencies, inventory management, operating forklifts and other equipment, organizing and maintaining inventory, assisting with packaging and preparing materials for shipment, collaborating with team members, weighing materials or products, unloading material from commercial truck flatbed trailers, monitoring trams and production of cylinders, lubricating truck, recharging batteries, filling fuel tank, securing freight inside trailers, assisting in housekeeping and clean-up activities, keeping material stacked evenly, safely, and in an organized manner, using appropriate motorized and manual equipment, and following all safety protocols and maintaining a clean work environment. The course includes an introduction to forklift operation, identification and maintenance considerations of forklift components, forklift inspections, forklift operation basics, load handling techniques, hazard identification and avoidance, safety protocols and procedures, and specialized forklift operations. By the end of the course, students will be well-equipped to handle the demands of the job and will be ready to start their career as a Forklift Operator.
