Typography

(2 clock hour lecture and 4 clock hour lab periods per week). The elegant use of type as visual communication. The exploration of typographic history, structures, terminology, and methods will be used as a tool for design and visual problem-solving. Students learn typographic principles and methodology, letterform design, COURSE DESCRIPTIONS, AAMU Undergraduate Bulletin, 2025-2026 ~ 362 ~ and typographic layout through a series of projects using computer applications.
