Human Trafficking

This course assumes a background in social science, criminal justice, or junior standing and familiarity with major theories in social science. This course aims to provide an understanding of the extent and scope of human trafficking, both domestically and globally, by focusing on the various dimensions from social, cultural, historical, and legal frameworks. Definitions and important terminology will be discussed, as well as the nature and consequences of various types of the crime.
