Child Health Nursing Practicum

Contact Hours: 4 Provides clinical learning opportunities for students to integrate clinical prevention, health promotion and maintenance, and illness and restorative care for children experiencing alterations in health states. Emphasizes clinical reasoning in the application of the nursing process in facilitating human adaptive responses to health alterations in the child in the provision of safe, quality nursing care. Uses a variety of hospital and community settings.
