Urinalysis and Body Fluids

This course focuses on the theory and techniques in the ex- amination of urine. The student is introduced to physical and chemical properties as well as microscopic examination of sed- iment and the identification of cells and crystals. Upon comple- tion, students should be able to perform basic urinalysis and correlate laboratory results to renal disorders and other dis- ease states. (Sp,)
