Directed Readings

The purpose of the course is for students who have an advanced level of proficiency in Japanese to obtain a higher level of Japanese reading and writing ability (equivalent to ####### 1#). The instructor will conduct the class in Japanese except for the study of translation / interpretation. Students are required to read short novels, newspaper articles, journals, and stories for specified topics, and discuss in Japanese during the class meetings.
