Writing Center Theory and Practice

This course is an introduction to social theories of writing and research on writing processes, disciplinary writing norms, and diverse cultural literacies. The course is for students interested in working in a writing center or in the broader issues of writing studies and teaching. Mid-way through the semester, students work as interns in the Writing Center two hours per week.
