The course introduces the undergraduate students to the study of computer forensics, including the concepts, tools and techniques necessary for identification, retrieval, preservation, analysis and documentation of information from electronic media in matters of suspected unauthorized access to confidential information, intellectual property crimes, fraud, piracy, industrial espionage, decryption, destruction of information, etc.
