An introduction to the distribution of flora and fauna across the ecoregions of Alabama, the fifth most biodiverse state in America, gained through immersion in selected natural areas. Discussions and student presentations focus on natural community and species assemblages with an emphasis on adaptions of flora and fauna to different environments. Six Saturday field trips are required.
